Food engineering is a discipline with a wide range of applications. The interpretation and application of engineering principles and approaches to all aspects of food production and processing goes into the field of food engineering and associate with almost all engineering fields (machinery, chemistry, industry, agriculture, etc.). Food engineering provides crucial bond between engineering and food sciences. In this sense Food Engineering is unique and indispensable branch of engineering. In summary, food engineering is concerned with the identification and creation of physical bases for both food and its components, as well as the application of engineering principles in the production, transport, storage, processing, packaging and distribution of foodstuffs.

As Food Engineering department we have made many technical trips with our students. You can find details on the tabs on the left.
